Floral Embellishments.

These flowers have been made using the following file - CU4CU Paper Flower PSD Templates, http://myprintablecrafts.com/products/2916?variant=11209969350.

Everyone makes flowers differently but this is a couple of the ways I do it.
1. Using Windows Photo Viewer, Print the files.
2. I cut them out using direct cut on the Brother Scan & cut with a 2mm border all round
3. Colour the flower - for these ones I used Pixie Powders mixed to make a paint but any colouring medium will work.
4. Leave to dry.

5. Each flower was embossed using an embossing folder to give texture.
6. Each petal was pinched down the middle.
7. Place a small amount of glue in the middle and layer up, slightly offsetting each layer.  Usually I use three layers but if I want a fuller flower, I would use more.
8. Flower ready to use.

9. Alternative way - using an embossing tool, rub the tool over the back of the flower.
10. The more you emboss, the more the flower will curl, turn over and push the middle back down.
11.  Glue the layers as before, offsetting each layer.  Push all layers together in the centre.
12. Flower ready to use.

Flowers can be used to decorate any card or home décor project - some examples below.
