Fathers Day Project 1

This is my first post as a design team member for The Printable Craft Shop.  Hope it sets the wheels in motion for someone.


 Fathers Day Projects....
....using the 475 Cigarette Flip Box HAND & MACHINE Cut Files available from The Printable Craft Shop - myprintablecrafts.com for £1.35.

Project 1. Turn the box into an easel card with Drawer.

Print out the pdf file and print a backing paper on the reverse - I used a paper from 'Bertie Bear Blue Ultimate kit' also available from The Printable Craft Shop.

Cut out the template and also cut the following pieces of card (I used off cuts of the same card and a solid blue one printed from the same kit)

• Drawer - 11 x 8 cm, scored on all 4 sides at 1.5cm,
• Easel Card - 14 x 5cm, scored at 7cm and 10.5 cm and 7 x 5 cm
• Mat - 6.5 x 4.5cm.

Make up the box as per the instructions included with the file.
Crease all of the score lines on the drawer, cut triangles out of the corner and glue drawer together.
Score lines for easel base, I punched the corners at this point as well as all four corners on the top piece and the mat, glue the top to the base on the last quarter. Mount the mat on top with foam tape.



Once all the pieces are dry glue the easel on top of the box being careful where the opening is.

Decorate as desired.
Place the drawer in the box.

This is now ready for a small gift.
