Print off the Milk Carton Template.
There are instructions included in the file for using the .png files with a graphics programme but here are two ways I used the file.
1. I used Serif Craft Artist 2 and imported the .png file as a photo, (the template).
2. I moved this onto the workspace and sized to fit the page.
3. I then found a suitable background among the digital files I already owned and placed this behind the template.
4. To decorate I imported the graphics from the Halloween Pumkin Easel into the software and sized to fit onto the panels.
5. When happy with the design, print two copies for each box you want to make.
Cut out both pages on the solid line.
The second way I printed the file was to use Windows Photo Viewer and print to A4. On the reverse I printed a backing paper.
This one didn't have an outside line, so I used my trimmer and cut it straight, remembering to add a tab on the side by the dotted line (the centre square on the other side does not have a line). I made the top of the box straight as well.
Whichever way you have got your sheets, you should now have two pieces the same.
Score & crease along all dotted lines.
Punch holes where the circles are.
Apply double sided tape or glue to the two tabs and join both pieces together forming the box shape.
Fold the bottom flaps in and glue securely.
Thread Ribbon through the holes.
You are now ready to fill your boxes ready for your trick or treater's.
Although used for Halloween, this is a very versatile box that can be used for loads of occasions.
